Sessions and assessment
RPG sessions and virtual spine assessment
A space to understand what is happening in your body and start changing what keeps the pain going, with Global Postural Re-education and pain neuroscience.
Who it is for
This process is for you if…
- You have sciatica, a herniated disc or any condition that causes pain in the spine.
- You have had chronic pain for months or years and have not achieved lasting results with medication, massages or rest.
- You avoid moving for fear of making things worse and want to regain confidence in your body.
- You want to avoid surgery or stop depending on painkillers.
How it works
What we do in the assessment and in the sessions
- 01
Analysis of your case
In the first session we review your history, your studies and the way you move, to identify what is keeping the pain going.
- 02
Pain education
You understand why your nervous system keeps triggering the alarm and what you can do from today to turn it down.
- 03
Therapeutic movement
We work with Global Postural Re-education (RPG) postures and exercises, adjusted to your case, to gain mobility and strength without pain.
- 04
Follow-up
Each session is adjusted to your progress, with clear guidelines to follow at home between sessions.
Format
Telehealth from Medellín to wherever you are
Consultations are completely virtual: you do not need to travel and you can take them from your home, with the same support you would have in person.
- Video call with Juliana Lopera Isaza.
- Exercise plan personalized for your case.
- Day-to-day guidelines: work, rest and movement.
- Support by WhatsApp between sessions.
Complement
If you also want to learn the full method
The Cerebro Feliz, Espalda Feliz (Happy Brain, Happy Back) program brings together in 10 modules everything I explain in consultation, so you can move forward at your own pace and review it whenever you need to.
Frequently asked questions about the sessions
How do I book my assessment?
Message me on WhatsApp or use the contact form and we will agree on a day and time. The assessment is by video call.
Do I need any special equipment?
No. Just a space where you can move comfortably and a stable connection.
Can I keep seeing my doctor and continue my treatments?
Yes. This approach is complementary: it does not replace your treating doctor and, when needed, we coordinate with them.
Does your case have a name? Start with the guide
Before the consultation you can read what I explain about disc herniation and sciatica: what it is, why it hurts and what really helps.
Tell me about your case: on the first call I will tell you if I can help
Tell me how long you have had the pain and what you have tried so far.
